Pre Cleanse Day 1 


Today you begin your 'journey'.... day 1 of your pre-cleanse. 

Use your manual as your 'bible' and contact me if you need assistance, have questions or concerns.

Day 1 - your first pre-cleanse day -
the idea behind the pre-cleanse is to eliminate highly processed foods, and foods that have become 'addictive', like sugar and caffeine.  (consider using Isagenix Coffee, the low acid level makes it perfect for cleanse days!)

Today your program includes:

  • 2 IsaLean Shakes 
  • 1 or 2 meals (divide 1 meal into 2 smaller meals)
  • 1 accelerator capsule
  • 1/2 your body weight (in oz) of water
  • snacks of your choice (see list below)

Again, make these 2 days about eliminating the junk, the things you have become addicted to (our foods have become our 'drugs of choice'!).  Let go of the sodas, red-meat, sugars and other 'white stuff', the preservatives and additives, pesticides/herbicides - eat healthy, whole grains, lean protein, and as organic as possible.  

Don't stress - this is an enjoyable journey and you are going to experience a life-style change that will bring you more energy, better sleep, and vibrant health!  

Don't stress about how much you should eat - eat sensibly and healthy and make sure you get in those 2 IsaLean Shakes.  

The purpose of this pre-cleanse is to start to eliminate some toxins and ply yourself with the dense nutrition in the shakes - this will assist your body to better handle the next 2 days of 'deep cleansing'.

 Drink plenty of water (1/2 your body weight, in ounces) and take one (1) accelerator capsule.  

 Many people question the amount and kinds of snacks they can have during the pre-cleanse.  

Here is a list of suggested snacks:

  • raw organic nuts (pine nuts, walnuts, almonds, brazil nuts)
  • organic cottage cheese
  • organic vegetables (stay away from carrots, beets & corn - they have high sugar content)
  • organic hard boiled egg
  • organic granny smith apple 
  • hummus 
  • guacamole 
  • organic almond or peanut butter

If weight is an issue (you are looking to lose weight) then eat accordingly -
If weight is not an issue (you are doing this solely for nutritional benefits) eat accordingly.

Once again - regarding what you 'should' eat ... make sure that whatever you put in is as 'toxin-free' as possible. Remember this is a 'cleanse' program - you will be eliminating toxins from the body (the toxins that are now being held in the fat). You don't want to put in more toxins that will then be pulled into the fat - you want to begin eliminating toxins! So, whatever you put in your mouth should be clean, organic and as toxin-free as possible -

You can have herbal tea during your program (chamomile is an example of herbal tea, not de-caf tea) - yes, you can have on a cleanse day; and again, if you love your daily cup of coffee, consider using Isagenix Coffee - the low acid level makes it perfect for every day, including cleanse days!   best not to have chewing gum (with sugar or without).  

A suggestion: When selecting fruits and vegetables during this pre-cleanse, stay away from those with a high glycemic level (sugar level) - in terms of fruit-eat organic, and stick with a green, granny smith apple, or berries; in terms of veggies, stay away from the beets, corn and carrots (high in sugar!).

Again, these 2 days are 'pre-cleanse' days and the purpose of the pre-cleanse is for you to wean away from the toxins, so your cleanse days will be easier on you.
